- An incident of simple assault occurred Sept. 21 on the Greenville Pike in Bloom Township. During the incident, a 38-year-old man and the victim were allegedly involved in a physical altercation. Further, he allegedly put the victim through a wall. The man was arrested for simple assault and harassment.
- No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Route 219 in Brady Township. Clifford M. Bogardus, 60, of Grampian and Leona M. Alvetro, 79, of Clearfield were traveling about 600 feet north of U.S. Route 322. Just as Alvetro began turning leftward into a driveway, Bogardus began passing her vehicle. As a result, his passenger’s side struck the driver’s side of the Alvetro vehicle. Bogardus then traveled off the west berm of the roadway, where the driver’s side struck a road sign. Alvetro pulled her vehicle into the driveway along the west berm. Bogardus pulled his over onto the east berm of Route 219. Bogardus was cited for the accident. State police were assisted by the Sandy Township police at the scene.
