HOUTZDALE — A nine-run fourth inning broke open the game as the Clearfield VFW fall baseball team defeated host Moshannon Valley 10-2 in six innings Thursday afternoon to improve its record to 7-1.
Josh Kennedy, who doubled, and Zach Timchak drove in two runs apiece while pitcher Thomas Summers notched his fourth win.
The Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field will be the scene of three games this weekend as Clearfield will play Bigler-West Branch at 10 a.m. Saturday and Mo Valley at 11 a.m. and Penns Valley at 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
