I-80 Westbound Remains Closed near Centre/Clinton County Line

CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that Interstate 80 westbound near the Centre-Clinton county line remains closed due to an accident that occurred earlier today, near mile-marker 168. Traffic is being detoured using Route 64.

PennDOT will open a lane as soon as it is possible to do so and open both lanes as the clean-up situation allows. Motorists are being alerted to the incident and restrictions through the use of the Highway Advisory Radio System and Dynamic Message System signs.

PennDOT expects to have a lane open within the next few hours but a one lane traffic pattern could be in place until daylight.
