Shaw identified the fugitive as Codey Lee Davidson, 23, of E. Long Ave., DuBois. Davidson is wanted in two, separate cases for failure to appear at criminal call on Sept. 5.

On March 11, Officer Stephen Bilunka of the Sandy Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Davidson with retail theft and criminal conspiracy.

Upon investigation it was found that Davidson and another individual were concealing items and left the store without paying for the merchandise.

A preliminary hearing was held April 19, at which time all charges were held to court.

In a separate case, Bilunka filed a criminal complaint on March 14, charging Davidson with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on March 10, police responded to the parking lot of business located in Sandy Township for the report of a possible stolen vehicle. Upon investigation it was found that Davidson and two other individuals had used the vehicle without the owner’s authorization. Video surveillance showed that Davidson and the other suspects had locked the keys inside the vehicle, and smashed out the rear window in order gain access to the vehicle. The approximate damage to the vehicle was $3,324.24.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 19, at which time all charges were held for court.

On Sept. 5, Davidson failed to appear for both cases at criminal call, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
