- A Treasure Lake woman reported Monday that a suspicious vehicle was in the area of New Providence Beach. Police checked the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
- On Monday a man reported that his 87-year-old mother provided her credit card information to a telemarketer when she was told she had won a free cruise and charged $935 for a cruise with Caribbean Cruise Lines. She then received correspondence requesting more money for further processing.
- A Punxsutawney man reported Monday that someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked at Wal-Mart.
- Sears employees reported Monday that they had evidence of an employee who was stealing from the store by ringing up returns and putting them on a gift card, which she kept. The gift card was later used at K-Mart. On another occasion the woman took money from a customer and put it in her pocket instead of the register. The investigation is continuing.
- A 41-year-old man reported Monday that he was receiving harassing phone calls from someone claiming to be from a collection agency. The man reported that he did not have any accounts that would be handled with a collection agency. These types of calls are fraudulent in nature, and Police advise residents to not give out personal information to anyone making these types of calls.
- A Treasure Lake resident reported Tuesday that someone took $7 in change from their vehicle.
