COALPORT – The Clearfield County Republican Committee held its first breakfast meeting yesterday at Josie’s Restaurant, Coalport. County Chairperson Arleen Multhauf welcomed committee members, candidates and guests and reminded everyone that the Nov. 5 election is 48 days away.
Members were updated on the Superior Court race and the campaign of the Republican nominee, Vic Stabile. Stabile is visiting all corners of the state to meet as many voters as possible before the Nov. 5 election.
The candidates present were Wes Thurston for Clearfield County Sheriff and Brian Spencer for Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts. Both provided updates on their campaigns.
The next breakfast meeting is at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Roadhouse Restaurant, Kylertown. Everyone is welcome.
