Alma Tankalavage, 93, of DuBois died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at Christ the King Manor.
Born Oct. 9, 1919 in Girardville, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gustitus. In 1944, she married Frank Tankalavage. He preceded her in death June 22, 1976.
She worked at B.F. Goodrich in DuBois for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
She’s survived by two daughters, Frances Krumm of Birdsboro and Joanne Pearson of Clearfield; a sister, Constance Suslavage of New Jersey; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers and nine sisters.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Fr. Dan Kresinski as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
