Police Report: Clearfield PSP

An incident of simple assault and harassment occurred Sunday on Erie Street in Wallaceton Borough. During the incident, a 35-year-old Beccaria man, Gary L. Jasper, and a 27-year-old Wallaceton woman, Brittany M. Beveridge, engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Jasper allegedly choked Beveridge and then shoved her to the floor. Additionally, Beveridge allegedly slapped Jasper in the face. Jasper was charged with simple assault and harassment through the district court. Jasper was arraigned and released on $25,000 unsecured bail. Beveridge was cited for harassment through the district court.
