Deborah A. Collar, 55, of Karthaus died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at her residence. Born Sept. 9, 1958 in Gainesville, TX, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Raymond Jr. and Aredas McGonigal Lanager.
Mrs. Collar was a member of the Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, Karthaus. She was a graduate of the West Branch High School. Mrs. Collar was a member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club, Frenchville.
Her companion was Wayne Graybill of Karthaus. She’s survived by three daughters, Angela Raupp and her husband, Andrew of Fayetteville, NC, Lindsey Robey and her husband, Robert of Clearfield and Tiffany Norris and her husband, Andrew of Frenchville.
She’s also survived by her grandsons, Myles, Jordan and Aiden; a sister, Cynthia Paul and her companion, Ray Rees of Karthaus and four brothers, Nelson Miller and his companion, Janet Klees of Karthaus, Cyrus R. Lanager III and his wife, Ruth and Joseph Lanager and his wife, Margaret, both of Hawk Run and Robert Lanager and his wife, Cynthia of Frenchville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Lanager.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, Karthaus, with the Rev. Matthew Finney officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, Karthaus.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
