- Police responded to a 9-1-1 hang-up call at the Clearfield High School. Police didn’t locate an emergency situation.
- Police responded to a domestic dispute on River Road. No further action was required of police.
- Police responded to an area truck stop for a male who had attempted to pass a bad check. Upon arrival police detained the male who was wanted on an out-of-state warrant. During the investigation, police found the male’s vehicle had been stolen in Idaho. Police took the male into custody on felony charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and several traffic offenses. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins with his bail being set at $25,000. He was transported to the Clearfield County Jail, and his preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 18.
- Police received a report about suspicious persons at the Clearfield Mall. However, they were gone upon police arrival.
- Police received a report of an unwanted person at a Jones Drive residence. Upon arrival police found a Clearfield male had fled the scene. The male will be arrested for stalking, harassment, loitering and prowling at nighttime and trespassing.
