Mason Katz slugged a solo home run to tie the game in the fifth inning, and the State College Spikes took advantage of an error in the 11th to defeat the Tri-City ValleyCats, 2-1, and win Game One of the New York-Penn League Championship Series on Tuesday night at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium.
