An incident of terroristic threats occurred Monday at a camp site in Ridgway Township. During the incident, a 31-year-old Kersey man and the victim engaged in an argument during which he choked, pushed and shoved her. The victim removed herself from the altercation when the man started chasing her with a wood splitting maul while yelling he was going to kill her. The man was transported to the Elk County Jail on a probation warrant. Charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment were filed through the district court.
