An incident of retail theft/theft by deception occurred Aug. 30 at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. A known 28-year-old Clearfield woman entered the store and selected a Braun electric razor valued at $190.74. She then removed a bar code from a set of sheets valued at $12 and put it on the razor. She proceeded to the self-check-out and purchased the razor for the price of the sheets. Minutes later the woman re-entered the store and returned the item for the full value of $190.74. Charges will be filed through the district court.
