Cecelia G. Guillard, 86, of State College and formerly of Osceola Mills, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at Greenhills Village in State College.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Celia (Grobowski) Groblewski born June 6, 1927 in Nanticoke.  She married Peter M. Guillard, MD, on Jan. 7, 1950 in Nanticoke.  Dr. Peter and Cecelia Guillard moved to Osceola Mills, in 1952.  He preceded her in death Jan. 16, 2010.

Mrs. Guillard was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, where she was also a member of the Rosary Society and a former member of the church choir.

She was a homemaker.  She was a 1945 graduate of the Nanticoke High School and graduated from Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia as a radiology technician.  She was an avid bridge player.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy McCoach, Irene Groblewski and Marie McClung and one brother, Leonard Groblewski.

Mrs. Guillard is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline Barner and her husband, Daniel of Newport News, VA, Genya Bannon and her husband, Richard of Ramey and Janine Guillard and her husband, Andy McKinnon of Pennsylvania Furnace and four sons, Frank Guillard, MD and his wife, Marylove and Paul Guillard, MD and his wife, Robin, both of State College, Karl Guillard, PhD and his wife, Lori of Windham Center, CT and Jon Guillard and his wife, Karen Lemley of Barboursville, VA.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, Jessica May, Peter Barner, Gwendolyn Younkin, Grant Guillard, Nathan Guillard, Ben Bannon, Bethany Bannon, Jon Paul Bannon, Julianne Guillard-Patton, Jeremy Guillard, Geoffrey Guillard, Celia Guillard, Leela McKinnon, Malti McKinnon, and Elise Madison Guillard and 14 great-grandchildren, Katherine Barner, Matthew May, Jon Robert May, Steven May, Wilhemina Guillard, Ulysses Guillard, Grace Bannon, Clair Bannon, Josephine Younkin, Evelyn Love Younkin, Raffaella Guillard, June Guillard, Walter Leaf Guillard and Jack Bannon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills with the Rev. Father Robert Horgas officiating.  Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Osceola Mills Library, Osceola Mills.

Mrs. G uillard touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
