FOX TOWNSHIP – A pedestrian, Edward L. Joshnick, 50, of St. Marys, was killed after being struck by a vehicle at 11:10 p.m. Monday on the Million Dollar Highway in Fox Township, reported the state police at Ridgway.
Alisha D. Himes, 33, of Penfield was traveling north in the left-hand lane. She struck Joshnick when he walked into the northbound travel lane, state police said.
Joshnick was transported from the scene via ambulance to the Elk Regional Health Center. He was pronounced dead at the health center, state police said.
Himes and both of her passengers were wearing seatbelts and not injured. No charges will be filed as a result of the investigation.
