TIPTON – Some of the top names in contemporary Christian music will take the stage at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park on Sunday.

DelGrosso’s Amusement Park will be hosting FrontLine Ministries’ 15th annual “Last Blast of Summer” YouthFest.  This annual worship service and music ministry will feature two headlining acts in Lindsay McCaul, who will perform at 3 p.m., and Matt Maher, who will perform at 7 p.m.  Author Donna Stanley will be on the stage at 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and comedy group 321 Improv will be performing at 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

FrontLine Ministries was founded in 1994 by George Palmer in Tipton. The multi-faceted ministry has a teen outreach center and summer camps, works with teens and their families dealing with the struggles of alcohol and drug abuse and counsels single, teen moms and troubled youth.  FrontLine also began a community outreach ministry called The Hope Center that provides friendship, hope, encouragement and resources to members of the Bellwood-Antis community.

“Each year the ‘Last Blast of Summer Concert’ is an amazing community event.  Through song and service we hope to reach out to our youth and families.  As always, we have some really great artists who are sharing their talents to make a difference,” said George Palmer, FrontLine founder. “Our partnership with DelGrosso’s Amusement Park allows us to have a venue that is fun and where people of all ages can listen and be inspired.”

Worship service will begin at 11 a.m. on the park stage.  FrontLine’s fourth annual “Tipton Rapids Quacker Scramble” Duck Regatta will take place at 5 p.m. at the Water Park.  For more information about FrontLine Ministries, please visit: www.frontlineministries.com.

“It is just our small way of saying thank you for being our guest,” said Carl Crider Jr., general manager of DelGrosso’s Amusement Park.  “It is hard to believe that the season has come to an end so quickly.  We want to give summer the proper send-off while giving our guests another chance to enjoy a family fun day at a great deal.”
