- An incident of trespassing occurred Friday on West Scribner Avenue. The victim told police that two, known males continued to come onto their porch and were sleeping there without permission. In the early morning hours Saturday, police contacted the two males, advised them of the complaint and requested them to leave. They were also advised that if it continued, they would be arrested. The males left the scene without incident.
- Police were dispatched for two males who were being disorderly while publicly intoxicated on Friday on West Long Avenue. Upon police arrival, they contacted both males who were detained and then released to a sober adult. The males will be cited for the incident.
- A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday at the intersection of West Weber Avenue and South Jared Street. The accident involved a pick-up truck and a motorcycle. Upon arrival police found that the operator of the truck traveled through a stop sign on West Weber Avenue and struck the motorcycle. The truck operator wasn’t injured. The motorcyclist was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
- An incident of theft occurred Saturday at a West Long Avenue business. The victim told police that people were stealing their water. Police contacted the suspects and advised them that if it continued, they would be arrested.
- Police were dispatched to an alarm Saturday at a business in the 100 block of Meadow Lane. Upon arrival police found the building to be secured.
- An incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle occurred Saturday at a business in the 300 block of South Brady Street. The victim told police that his vehicle had a rock thrown at its window, and his front and back tires had been slashed. Police have a suspect, and the investigation is continuing at this time.
- A motion alarm activated Sunday inside a residence in the 300 block of Patterson Avenue. Police checked the residence and found it secured. No further action was taken by police.
- Police responded Sunday to the 200 block of South Franklin Street, where two juvenile boys were allegedly playing with a lighter and setting a fire underneath the bridge. Upon arrival police had the fire department respond and put out the fire. The boys were then released to their parents. No charges will be filed as a result of the incident.
- A vehicle crashed into a residence Sunday in the 100 block of East Weber Avenue. Upon arrival police observed the same, and the driver was transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center – West. The cause of the accident is believed to be a vehicle malfunction, police said.
- A burglar alarm went off Sunday at a business in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. Upon arrival police checked the building and found it was a false alarm. No further action was taken by police.
- Police were dispatched Sunday to a residence in the 200 block of East Logan Avenue for someone who was allegedly snooping around outside. Upon arrival police searched the area but didn’t locate anyone.
