Railroad Crossing Work in Clearfield County Sept. 4-5

Detour will be in effect as Westover crossing is replaced

CLEARFIELD – Work to remove and replace a railroad crossing on Route 3006 (Bridge Street) in Westover Borough will take place Sept. 4-5. Crews from RJ Corman Railroad Company will be working to remove the existing railroad-crossing surface and rebuild the structure through the crossing.

There will be a nine-mile detour in place and drivers will use Route 36 (Main Street/ Colonel Drake Highway), Route 3014 (North Camp Road), and Route 3003 (Punkin Ridge Road) to get around the closure. Local drivers familiar with the area may choose to use alternate routes. All work is weather dependent.

PennDOT reminds drivers to follow detour signs, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
