Big inning nets Spikes record-setting 40th win

The State College Spikes set a new franchise record with their 40th win of the year as they scored all of their runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to surge past the Auburn Doubledays, 7-0, on Saturday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
