DUBOIS – The investigation is continuing into an accident after which a vehicle caught fire early Friday morning on Seyler Alley, the DuBois City police reported today.
At approximately 2:38 a.m., police were dispatched to a rollover accident. Upon arrival police found the vehicle was totally engulfed in flames.
The DuBois Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. After that police and firefighters searched the vehicle but didn’t find anyone inside.
Police contacted the owner who told police her vehicle must have been stolen from her residence in Sandy Township.
DuBois City police were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police and the Sandy Township police.
