House Education and Labor Committee member to participate in Business Roundtable on Workforce Development
This roundtable is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and to last until 12:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Main Campus Annex, Room 220, with a brunch to be provided in Room 219 of the annex.
The DBC invites employers, schools, Chambers of Commerce and WIB Representatives to the business roundtable. As a strong supporter of educational institutions and this area, Thompson is an excellent choice to be featured at this event, stated a press release for the event.
“This is the perfect opportunity to hear what he has to say about the opportunities he has pursued to help our local businesses and workforce to regain ground lost by the recent economic slump,” the press release stated. “Thompson will address the workforce issues, concerns, and successes of the region. Come and hear what he has to say and share your thoughts with him.”
