PINE TOWNSHIP – Two people were flown to the Altoona Hospital after an accident at 1 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 80 eastbound at mile-marker 112.4 in Pine Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
Matthew J. Calfe, 26, of Warriors Mark was traveling on I-80 when an unknown vehicle forced his own off the roadway. His vehicle traveled into the center median and overturned several times, state police said.
Both Calfe and his passenger, Rebecca A. Diehl, 26, also of Warriors Mark were flown to Altoona for treatment of injuries. The Calfe vehicle was towed from the scene, state police said.
