Man Killed in ATV Accident

JORDAN TOWNSHIP – An all-terrain vehicle accident claimed the life of a 31-year-old Irvona man, Jeffery Lynn Gallaher, at 12:31 a.m. today on Henry Road just off state Route 729 in Jordan Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.

Gallaher was traveling east and lost control of the ATV, which exited the roadway and overturned. Both Gallaher and his passenger, Erin M. King, 35, of Somerset were ejected from the ATV. Gallaher was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be released at a later date, state police said.
