Esther J. Henderson, 95, of the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield and formerly of Houtzdale, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital, Clearfield.
Born Nov. 16, 1917 in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of Robert and Bessie (Herr) Evans. She was a homemaker.
On Dec. 7, 1944, she married Theodore Henderson, who preceded her in death on July 7, 1964. She was the last of her generation.
She’s survived by a daughter, Jean Holencik and her husband, Richard; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing and services will be private. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
