A 15-year-old girl who was helping clean reported she was grabbed by the 52-year-old son of the resident, because he was angry over things being thrown away. Police handled the situation without incident, and the man will be cited for harassment.
- A man turned in a Pennsylvania license plate that he found Wednesday on Behringer Highway.
- A DuBois woman reported Wednesday that her 8-year-old daughter had been bitten by a dog while playing at the Wasson School. The girl sustained a puncture wound to her leg. The dog’s owner was contacted and explained that she was letting her dogs run in the woods behind the school and didn’t see the kids. The incident was turned over to the dog warden for further investigation.
- A Wilson Avenue man reported Wednesday there was a known woman outside his residence, and she was causing a disturbance. The 55-year-old Treasure Lake woman was yelling and screaming due to a relationship the man was having with her daughter. The woman was gone upon police arrival.
- On Wednesday police responded to a Treasure Lake residence for a reported domestic dispute between a 55-year-old woman and her 31-year-old daughter. The dispute turned physical, but no one was injured. Police handled the situation without incident.
- Two tractor-trailers sustained minor to moderate damage Wednesday when one attempted to make a U-turn in the parking lot of Pilot and struck each other.
- A 32-year-old Pacific Avenue woman reported Wednesday that her 11-year-old daughter was riding her bike in front of the residence and disappeared. The woman suspected the girl was with her father but could not confirm that. Police confirmed her whereabouts with her father. The daughter was located and returned by her father the next day.
- On Thursday police were called to a Wilson Avenue residence for a domestic dispute between a 52-year-old man and his 35-year-old nephew. Police handled the situation without incident.
- A delivery truck pulled down utility wires while attempting to make a delivery Thursday on Eastern Avenue, causing damage to a home and vehicle.
- A 52-year-old Wilson Avenue man reported his handgun was missing from his residence. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- On Thursday police responded to a Treasure Lake residence for a reported domestic dispute between a 32-year-old Dubois man and his estranged 23-year-old girlfriend. The man stated the woman stole a pair of roller blades from his car and he wanted them back. The woman admitted to taking the skates and agreed to return them. The situation was handled without incident.
- A 27-year-old Hanes Drive woman reported Thursday that her 32-year-old ex-boyfriend was harassing her by phone. Police spoke to the man and handled the situation without incident.
