DUBOIS – The Clear-Penn Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) held its first summer picnic July 9 at the Sandy Township Recreation Park in DuBois.
Nine members and four guests attended the picnic. Programs and meeting places for the upcoming year were discussed by the members. Carol Lundgren, CAP-OM, president, distributed committee sheets for review.
The board will meet Aug. 6 to finalize plans for the upcoming year. The next chapter meeting will be a picnic Aug. 13 at Irvin Park in Curwensville. It will begin at 6 p.m.
Reservations are not needed, but attendees are asked to bring a covered dish, table service and beverages. Meat will be provided at the picnic. IAAP attendees are free to bring a spouse, family member or co-worker. Guests are welcome at all chapter picnics and dinner meetings.
IAAP activities provide an opportunity to develop professional and personal skills of leadership, public speaking and meeting planning and networking. All office professionals are welcome to attend any meeting.
