Susan Darlene Creek 68, of Woodland died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at her residence.
Born Feb. 5, 1945 in Indiana County, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Velma (Lee) Bartlebaugh. She was Baptist by faith. She had worked as a caregiver/nurse’s aide for Greensburg Care Center for more than 20 years.
She is survived by six children, Suzi Holes and her husband, Austin of Woodland, Edward Creek of Winburne, Billy Joe Creek and his wife, Amanda of Curwensville, Vikki Evans and her husband, Kenneth and Leo Nelson Creek Jr., both of Zebulon, NC and Angelia Hale and her husband Randy of Dubois; 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three brothers Pete, Norman, and David Bartlebaugh.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo N. Creek and her parents; two sons, Jamie Lee Creek and David Allen Creek; two brothers, Richard and Joseph Bartlebaugh; two sisters, Shirley Lee and Dolly Keener; and her companion, Wayne Trout.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bradford Cemetery. There will not be any public services or viewing.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
