Man Dies after Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A 43-year-old Clearfield man died of injuries after a vehicle-pedestrian accident that occurred at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday along River Road in Lawrence Township.

Darian E. Davis, 43, of Clearfield was walking along the west berm of the roadway. He was struck by a vehicle driven by a Clearfield woman, police said.

Davis was first taken to the Clearfield Hospital via ambulance. He was later transported to the Altoona Regional Medical Center where he died, police said.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
