- A hit-and-run accident occurred Friday in the 200 block of West Long Avenue. A small black- or green-colored Ford Focus or Chevrolet Cavalier struck a silver-colored Ford Focus and then fled the scene. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Saturday a man and woman were observed arguing and shoving each other in the first block of North Jared Street. The couple left prior to police arrival to the scene.
- Someone stole a purse from a woman on Saturday after she put it down at an establishment in the 200 block of West Long Avenue.
- A domestic dispute occurred Saturday in the 100 block of South State Street. During the incident, the husband allegedly wouldn’t allow his wife into the residence. However, he left prior to police arrival.
- On Saturday a DuBois woman was contacted by a male caller who claimed to be from the Publisher’s Clearing House. He told the woman she’d won a large sum of money but needed to send $450 as a processing fee before she could get the money. The woman didn’t provide any information and contacted police. Police would like to warn residents that this is a scam.
- A woman’s wallet was taken from her car on Saturday while it was in the first block of Rumbarger Avenue.
- An alarm occurred Saturday at Goodwill in the Giant Eagle Plaza located on North Main Street. Police found the exterior of the building to be secured.
- A domestic dispute occurred between a woman and her daughter on Saturday in the 300 block of Wood Street. No arrests were made as a result of the incident.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call on Sunday in the first block of Reed Street. Everything was found to be OK at the residence.
- An alarm was activated Sunday at the DuBois Diner. Police found the exterior of the building to be secured.
