Lexie E. Wise, 19, of DuBois died Thursday, July 4, 2013, in a utility-terrain vehicle accident in Winslow Township.
She was born April 13, 1994 in DuBois, the daughter of Bryan Wise and his girlfriend, Karen Emmerich of DuBois and Stephanie (Galentine) McGough and her husband, Mike of Rockton.
She was employed as manager of Bucks Pizza, DuBois, and had worked at Catherine’s Cache, Bath and Body Works and Bamboo Gardens.
She enjoyed the outdoors, riding four-wheelers, being with her friends and having a good time. She especially loved her two dogs, Bubba and Riley.
She’s survived by her parents; a brother, Steven Phipps of DuBois; her maternal grandmother, Linda Galentine of Troutville; two aunts, Ann Smeal and Jo Hudson; an uncle, Emery Wise; numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins, Sydney, Mya, Quinn and Devan.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clarence Galentine; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Margaret Wise; two uncles, Heath Galentine and Jim Wise and an aunt, Dorothy Martell.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, DuBois, with Chaplain Charlene Lauver officiating.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
