- State police investigated an accident involving a stolen vehicle on Wednesday on Vulcan Road in Bigler Township. Someone crossed into the northbound lane, exited the roadway into an embankment and struck several trees. Then, the vehicle came to its final resting position on its driver’s side, and its operator fled the scene. - An incident of harassment occurred Thursday on Hillbilly Lane in Bradford Township. A Mineral Springs couple engaged in a verbal argument during which a woman allegedly started to “pick a fight” with a man. He allegedly shoved her from the residence and then pushed her onto the deck, causing her to scrape her left elbow. At that point, the woman allegedly kicked the man in his groin area. Both were highly intoxicated at the time of the incident. Charges will be filed against both for harassment through the district court.
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred Thursday at the Hill Crest Commons in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, a 31-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly entered an occupied apartment that he wasn’t licensed or privileged to. He fled the scene after being confronted by the victim. He was located at his residence several apartments away and put in the Clearfield County Jail. The man was arraigned on charges of criminal trespass and public drunkenness; his bail was set at $25,000.
- An incident of DUI occurred Friday on state Route 53 in Cooper Township. A 24-year-old Lanse man was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to the Clearfield-based state police for breath testing. His test results revealed a blood-alcohol content of 0.115 percent. Charges of DUI and related traffic offenses will be filed through the district court.
- An incident of harassment occurred Thursday at the Hill Crest Commons in Chester Hill Borough. During the incident, a man allegedly engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with two victims. Charges are being filed through the district court.
- An incident of burglary occurred sometime Wednesday or Thursday on Anderson Street in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, someone gained access to a business by knocking out the window mount air conditioner that was in the front window. This report is pending further investigation.
