Ruth D. Kephart, 91, of Osceola Mills died Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
She was the daughter of the late Samuel and June Rebecca Stern born June 24, 1922 in Houtzdale. Her husband, John W. Kephart preceded her in death June 14, 1953.
Mrs. Kephart was of the Christian faith and she was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Mayes; a brother, William Stern; and a niece, Ruth Stern Metzger.
Mrs. Kephart is survived by four nieces, Bonnie J. Jackson, Rebecca Timchak, Jessica Snyder and Melissa Centers and a nephew, John Mayes.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
