JEFFERSON COUNTY – Flooding has closed state roadways in Jefferson County. The roadways will open once the water recedes, according to GantDaily.com news partner WJAC-TV.
The following roadways are closed:
- Route 3001 (Pheasant Hollow Road) in both directions between Route 3014 (Sprankle Mills Road) in Oliver Township and Route 536 in Ringgold Township (Pheasant Hollow Area).
- Route 536 in both directions between Route 36 in Young Township and Porter Road in Perry Township (Hamilton/Frostburg Area).
- Route 310 in both directions between 10th Street in Winslow Township and Route 2023 (Knoxdale Road) in McCalmont Township (Punxsutawney to Reynoldsville).
- Route 119 in both directions in Henderson Township between Rock Dump Road and Sykesville/Troutville Road (Stump Creek to Sykesville Borough).
Also, Route 36 traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction between Markton and Coolspring. Please slow down and use caution while travelling through this area. You may experience congestion and delays.
