Dorothea Blanche Fink McCullough, 84, of Curwensville died Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Ridgeview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Curwensville.

Born Jan. 11, 1929 in Kerrmoor, she was the daughter of Lewis and Inez (Witherite) McCracken.  Mrs. McCullough was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Bloomington.  She had been a Girl Scouts leader in Kerrmoor, Olanta and New Millport and had taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School at the Zion Baptist Church in Ansonville.

She first wed Harry J. Fink on May 11, 1946 and who preceded her in death in August of 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harry McCracken.

She then wed Robert Merle McCullough on Dec. 23, 1982, who survives along with two children, Harry L. “Squeak” Fink and his wife, Lilly and Sandra K. Fink Barrett and her companion, Paul Zandek, both of Curwensville.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, Janette Fernandes, Jason Fink, Jared Fink and Katrina Fink.

In addition, she is survived by four great-grandchildren Paige Fink, Jessica Fernandes, Katelyne Fink and Savannah May and two brothers and four sisters, Seth McCracken and his wife, Ella, Violet Jean Shaffer, Raymond McCracken and his wife, Darlene and Shirley Wilson, all of Kerrmoor, Josephine Sparks and her husband, Verlon of San Antonio, TX and Julia Cofer and her companion, Jack of Fredricksburg, MO.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCullough will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Community Baptist Church, Route 453 South, Curwensville, with the Rev. Todd T. Hogue officiating. Burial will be in the Watts Cemetery, Bells Landing.

Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the church.

The family suggests contributions be made to the Community Baptist Church, 11555 Curwensville-Tyrone Hwy., Curwensville, PA  16833.
