- An incident of theft occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday on Railroad Street in Rush Township. The victim bought a small BMX bicycle, which was black and silver in color with 10-inch wheels. The bicycle also had training wheels. During the incident, the bicycle was stolen from the victim’s residence.
- An incident of DUI occurred Tuesday on Fowler Road in Taylor Township. State police initiated a traffic stop on an all-terrain vehicle, and its driver failed to stop when police signaled with lights and sirens. This resulted in a short pursuit. The ATV eventually turned onto Election House Hill Road, where the driver jumped off and fled on foot. A 24-year-old Tyrone man was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. After questioning the man, state police discovered he was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for a blood test. During the investigation, the man told state police he believed the ATV had been stolen; it is a black 2001 Honda 300 EX. The investigation is ongoing.
