Eldarene “Bo” Turner, 73, of Philipsburg died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg.
She was the daughter of the late Percy and Lily (Smeal) Yarger born Jan. 4, 1940 in Sanborn. She married Raymond G. Turner on June 13, 1959 in Sanborn. He preceded her in death Jan. 31, 2001.
She was a Protestant by faith and was an avid bingo player.
She was a homemaker and mother. She was a 1958 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by, a brother, Daniel Yarger and a sister, Theo Kline.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda S. Baughman and her husband, Peter, Pamela J. Wood and her husband, Edward and Nanette L. Siegfried and her husband, Wayne and a brother, Samuel Yarger and his wife, Carolyn, all of Philipsburg.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, Chad Baughman and his wife, Katie of Hawk Run, Gregory Wood of Colorado Springs, CO and Adam Baughman, Ashley Wood, Katie Siegfried and her fiancé, Justin Kopchik and Trey Siegfried, all of Philipsburg; a great-grandson, Carsen Baughman of Hawk Run; a sister-in-law, Joyce Yarger of Philipsburg; a brother-in-law, Emery Kline of DuBois; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, with the Rev. Lamarr Pirkle officiating. Burial will be at the Bradford Cemetery in Woodland.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
