CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield American Legion baseball team’s Central Penn League game at Philipsburg that was postponed Monday has been rescheduled for Friday, June 28, with a 6 p.m. start.
Manager Sid Lansberry also announced that the Chiefs are booked for a non-league home game with Brookville on June 18. That fills an open date on the Clearfield schedule which resulted from Penns Valley being unable to field a team in the CPL because of a lack of players this season.
The Chiefs (0-5) are booked for CPL home games against State College Wednesday at 6 p.m. and Mifflin County Saturday at 5 p.m. that sandwich a trip to Cooperstown, N.Y., Friday for a 1:30 p.m. non-league encounter with Bradford.
