- A 36-year-old Keen Court woman reported Monday that she received a pop-up message on her computer, stating that she was under investigation by the FBI and she had to wire money or she would be arrested. Police advise these kinds of pop-up messages are fraudulent in nature, and residents are neither to respond nor to send money.
- A 23-year-old DuBois woman reported Monday that the 36-year-old father of her children is harassing her by phone. The investigation is continuing.
- A 49-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported Monday that her husband was violent and out of control. Upon arrival officers found the disturbance to be verbal in nature and handled the situation without incident.
- A false alarm occurred Tuesday at Kwik Fill.
- A 52-year-old Freedom Road woman reported Tuesday that a woman placed a Mary Kay order over the Internet and sent a check for $2,296 over the amount due. The woman requested the change be sent to a man in Georgia. The DuBois woman called the bank the check was drawn on and discovered the account was not valid.
