CLEARFIELD – The third annual 300 Club Dinner Party fundraiser for Clearfield Hospital Hospice will be held Sept. 29 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Clearfield Driving Park Expo I Building.
Tickets are available for purchase now for $100 at the following businesses: Clearfield Hospice, Inlow’s Turnpike Garage, Jack’s Distributing, Bud’s Electric and Thompson & Buck in Clearfield and DuBois Harley-Davidson in DuBois.
Thanks to the community support, the event raised more than $10,000 last year to help ease the burdens of terminally ill patients and their families served by hospice across its five-county region. The kindness filled gaps, taking care of grieving families’ uncovered healthcare expenses, and provided extra aide, care, equipment, guidance and relief to those who needed it most. Every dime earned at this event will benefit hospice and be used in the community for those in need.
The 300 Club was conceived two years ago by John Inlow Jr. and Matt Hertlein as a way to acknowledge how much Clearfield Hospital Hospice meant to their family during the illness and passing of John Inlow Sr. and recently his wife, Mary. John reached out to hospice, and together with the community support, helped create one more mark of love and kindness in the world.
Only 300 tickets are sold. Each ticket admits the ticket holder and a guest to the event. Tickets include drinks and dinner for two catered by Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub. Menu includes: pork shank in barbecue sauce, Kentucky bourbon chicken, red skinned potatoes, corn, spring pasta, and side salad. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
The grand prize at this year’s event is a 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim, twin-cam 103B engine, 6-speed cruise drive transmission with vivid black paint. Sales tax and title registration fees included.
Cash prizes are: first ticket drawn wins $300; 100th and 200th tickets drawn win $150; and every 10th ticket drawn wins $50.
Other prizes include 50/50, rip ticket prizes, flat screen TV, Pot O’ Gold from Zalno’s Jewelers valued at $500, and many more.
