No injuries were reported after a three-vehicle accident Saturday at the intersection of North Centre Street and U.S. Route 322. Dylan J. Summerville, 21, of Knox, Kirk Whitaker, 52, of Boalsburg and William E. Patterson, 44, of Luthersburg were traveling northbound in a single line near Weis Market. Patterson came to a stop at the intersection in compliance with a traffic signal. Whitaker stopped behind him. Summerville approached and failed to come to a stop, slamming into the Whitaker vehicle and forcing it into that driven by Patterson. Summerville’s vehicle sustained severe front end damage; both the Whitaker and Patterson vehicles had minor damage. Summerville will be cited for the accident.
