CLEARFIELD – A bridge on Route 3014 (Harmony Road) in Clearfield County is set to open today. The bridge was closed starting in April to allow crews from PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance to make repairs.
The bridge will now be removed from the list of structurally deficient bridges, and area motorists will have a smoother and safer ride.
Originally, work was to be complete in mid-May; however, the bridge was in need of more significant repairs than planned. The bridge spans Patchin Run on Route 3014, in the village of Patchinville in Burnside Township.
The overall project included replacement of the deck and improved drainage. The bridge was built in 1950, is 21 feet long and carries an average of almost 300 vehicles per day.
