Eleanor Mae McKee, 86, of Clearfield died Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield. She was born Dec. 25, 1926, a daughter of the late Paul Leroy Sr. and Dora Grace (Fink) Cathcart.
Mrs. McKee was a homemaker and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
She is survived by six children, Robert A. McKee Jr. and his wife, Cheryl of Mt. Zion, William McKee of Richmond, VA, Scott Allen McKee of Florence, SC and Edward McKee, Sandra McKee and Deborah Luzier and her husband, David, all of Clearfield; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. McKee Sr. on June 28, 2004 and whom she wed Oct. 24, 1945 in Clearfield. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Twila Jones; two sisters, Jean Curry and Beverly Grace Livergood; and a brother, Paul L. Cathcart Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Pastor Robert J. Way officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
