- A 30-year-old Brockway man failed to stop Friday at the intersection of Midway and Commons Drive, causing his vehicle to impact another driven by a 31-year-old DuBois man. Minor injuries were reported; both vehicles were towed from the scene. The 30-year-old was cited for not stopping at the stop sign.
- A 32-year-old Northern Cambria man reported Friday that while working at the Homewood Suites construction site on Friday, another employee attacked him, and they engaged in a physical fight. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A 25-year-old Punxsutawney woman reported Friday that while she was waiting to pull out of the DuBois Mall, the car in front of her began to back up and struck her vehicle. The female driver exited her vehicle, looked at the damage and said she would exchange information. However, the woman got back in her vehicle and left the scene. Minor damage was reported.
- A 52-year-old Reynoldsville man was pulled over for not having his headlights on in a construction zone on Friday. Afterward it was discovered that the man’s driver’s license was suspended and expired. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- On Friday, police responded to a Tozier Avenue residence for a domestic disturbance in progress. A 48-year-old Penfield man and his 38-year-old girlfriend were involved in a verbal altercation. Alcohol was a suspected factor. The situation was handled without incident.
- A 43-year-old Cranberry woman reported Friday that while in the Falls Creek Sheetz parking lot, a black Ford Expedition with New Jersey plates drove at her head-on and struck the left front side of her vehicle and then left the scene.
- Wal-Mart employees reported Saturday that a man passed out in his vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arrival officers located the man and found the 26-year-old Clearfield man had stopped to sleep on his way home from Pittsburgh.
- A false alarm occurred Saturday at a Treasure Lake Residence.
- Friendly Tavern employees reported Sunday that two males were trying to get in the building after they had closed. The men were gone upon police arrival.
- A 71-year-old Treasure Lake man reported Sunday that while he was on his computer, a document popped up, stating it was from the Department of Justice. In order to unlock his computer screen, he had to obtain $300 in money packs and type the numbers into the screen. Police would like to remind residents that these computer messages are fraudulent and information shouldn’t be given to unknown sources. The Department of Justice will not request money from anyone, especially in this manner.
- A man reported Sunday that he discovered damage to his vehicle after getting home from Wal-Mart. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A 47-year-old DuBois man reported Sunday that someone took the license off of his motorcycle.
- Sears employees reported Monday that they had observed an unknown female who was taking merchandise from the store without paying for it. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- As a 76-year-old Curwensville man was pulling out of Piney Lane onto Oklahoma Salem Road on Monday, a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old Hanes Drive man came around a bend in the road and struck his own. No injuries and minor damage were reported.
