Public Invited to Marketing and Business Development Workshop

DUBOIS – Inventors, entrepreneurs and small business owners could benefit from an upcoming workshop at Penn State DuBois hosted by marketing and business consultant Bob Beaury.  The half-day workshop is free and open to the public.

The day’s program, Marketing and New Business Development – a Real World Focus, will cover topics such as new product ideas, starting and growing a business, long-term business growth and developing partnerships. 

Beaury is a marketing strategy consultant to a wide-rang of clients throughout central Pennsylvania, and an instructor in Entrepreneurship and Leadership at PennState, University Park.  He previously served as the chief executive officer of Broadband Networks Inc. and has been involved in the development of more than 100 new products and the creation of their market introduction programs.

This event is funded, in part, by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, and the North Central Regional Planning and Development Commission. It was also made possible by regional partnerships with the Penn State DuBois Office of Technology Transfer, Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority, North WestIndustrialResourceCenter, ClarionUniversitySmallBusinessCenter, The Greater DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson County Development Council and the Clearfield County Economic Development Corp..
