Roadway Milling and Paving Work Starts Wednesday on Route 192 in Centre County

STATE COLLEGE On behalf of Gov. Tom Corbett, PennDOT has announced that roadway milling and paving work will get under way Wednesday in CentreCounty on Route 192.

When work completes late this fall, PennDOT will have improved the roadway surface of ten routes in Centre and Clinton counties and provided area drivers with smoother, safer travel.

Crews will be working to mill and pave on Route 192 between BrushMountain and MillheimNarrows roads. Drivers should be alert for flaggers in the roadway, as an alternating traffic pattern is enforced during daylight hours.

Motorists need to remain alert for construction vehicles entering and exiting the construction area and drivers should expect short travel delays. Work on Route 192 is expected to last through the end of next week.

This work is part of a $4.3 million contract to improve ten state routes in Centre and Clinton counties. All work is weather and schedule dependent. PennDOT will issues updates on this project as work locations change. New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company Inc. is the contractor on this project.
