The investigation is ongoing into a hit-and-run accident that occurred Thursday in the Snappy’s Convenience Store parking lot in Rush Township. A driver was backing up and struck the left, rear side of a 2000 Buick Century. After impact the driver fled the scene and was last seen traveling southbound on North Second Street. The driver is possibly an older female with shoulder length hair. Her vehicle is possibly an older model Chevrolet extended cab pick-up truck, which is light brown over silver and red. Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
