AUSTIN – A Bio Blitz program will be offered May 20-21 at the Sinnemahoning State Park, where a team of scientists, school students and volunteers will be in a race against time to find and identify as many species as possible.
A Bio Blitz is part scientific research, part exploration and part celebration. Participants will dive into the wonders of the Pennsylvania Wilds for two days of biodiversity mayhem.
All events are open to the general public. The Bio Blitz will kick off at 9 a.m. May 20 at the Wildlife Center and conclude at 2 p.m. May 21. Camping sites are available.
