- An incident of false reports occurred Monday on Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough. A 52-year-old Philipsburg woman reported that her apartment was burglarized. She told police that someone had entered and stole prescription medication. Further investigation revealed she’d made a false report. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- An incident of theft occurred sometime between March 22 and Monday along the Old Tyrone Pike in Rush Township. Someone entered a Philipsburg woman’s bedroom and removed a small fireproof safe. The victim kept prescription medication within the safe. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
- A hearing aid was turned into the Philipsburg-based state police on Monday. It was found near the Philipsburg Post Office. The owner may claim the hearing aid by calling the Philipsburg-based state police.
