- A 25-year-old Benezette woman was cited Friday after she left the scene of a minor accident. She rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Falls Creek resident while she was stopped at a light on Shaffer Road. Officers found her on Jared Street at which point she initially denied striking the other vehicle. However, she later admitted to it, stating she was afraid because her license was suspended.
- A false alarm occurred Friday at a Treasure Lake residence.
- A woman reported Friday that a 48-year-old Falls Creek man was speeding through the Wal-Mart parking lot and struck her vehicle.
- A man reported Saturday that his daughter swerved to miss a deer while she was traveling on Sher De Lin Road. Her vehicle traveled off the roadway and became stuck on a bank. No injuries and minor damage were reported.
- On Friday, a 27-year-old Mauthe Road man reported that his live-in girlfriend was threatening to harm herself. Upon police arrival, the woman exited the house and yelled at her boyfriend and officers. She then attempted to flee the scene. She was taken into custody and transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
- A truck driver was backing his truck into a parking space Saturday when he hit another truck that was parked there. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
- A Rockton woman hit a deer Sunday on DuBois Rockton Road. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
- On Sunday, police responded to a Harper Road residence for a domestic dispute between a 32-year-old woman and her 42-year-old estranged boyfriend. The woman reported that man was throwing her belongings out into the yard and wouldn’t let her back in the house. Officers handled the situation without incident.
