Toby Fauver, PennDOT’s deputy secretary for local and area transportation, recently presented Drais Parrillo of Ferguson Elementary School, as a division winner for PennDOT’s Aviation Art Contest. More than 300 entries were received statewide, with winners chosen in each of PennDOT’s 11 engineering districts.
Drais was recognized for creatively demonstrating the contest theme of “50 Years in American Space Flight.” Pictured with Drais is Teacher Margaret Sutherland, his parents and Fauver.
